FAQ

Does the product really work?

Yes! After several years of laboratory testing, the product has been homologated as an effective rodent repellent, provided the installation procedure is followed for maximum effect.

Furthermore, ROD the Repellent prevents rodent intrusions and can be used preventatively, for example when storing an RV for the winter.

We invite you to review the WARNING section on the back of the package.

What is the product life expectancy?

In the original packaging: 2 years

In its original packaging, the product has a life expectancy of 2 years, even if the bag has been opened. However, it is very important that the bag be properly sealed after each use.

When open and installed: 3 to 6 months

In a confined space (especially in storage), ROD the Repellent is effective for up to 6 months. As the product is a slow‑release repellent, its efficacy is more quickly reduced in well‑ventilated areas.

What is the installation procedure?

You will be impressed by how easy it is to install! Depending where you would like to install the product (RV, cottage, home, business, storage locker, etc.), we invite you to watch one of the installation videos below.

Why is it not recommended to combine the repellent with other anti‑parasite products such as traps or poison?

It is important not to use baits such as poisons, traps or sticky paper - you don’t want to invite rodents inside.

Why is there urine or excrement near the sachet?

It’s a question of survival for the rodents. When this behaviour is observed, it demonstrates that the presence of the repellent is uncomfortable for the rodents. They attempt to combat the product using their urine or excrement near or on the sachet. They quickly give up when they realize this is in vain, leaving their urine and excrement behind. The rodents may also tear open the packets and distribute the product, inferring they are trying to eliminate the product.

If you notice this situation:

Clean the area where the rodent activity occurred and wait a few days. If there is still rodent activity, replace the packet. However, if you no longer notice rodent activity, you have confirmation that the repellent was effective and that the rodents left within days of product application.
